You'll make an impact by

• Develop and execute the overall maintenance and asset management strategy, ensuring high equipment availability, reliability and performance through effective preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance concepts.
• Continuously improve equipment OEE and productivity by systematically analyzing downtime, technical losses, recurring failures and bottlenecks, and driving sustainable countermeasures together with Production and Engineering.
• Continuously improve maintenance cost and total cost of ownership, including spare parts, external services, maintenance contracts, consumables and personnel resources. Establish cost transparency and actively identify productivity and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Ensure fast and effective technical support to production across all shifts, minimizing unplanned downtime and ensuring structured root-cause analysis and sustainable elimination of recurring failures.
  Establish and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance concepts, using equipment data, condition monitoring, digital tools and AI-based solutions where they create measurable operational or economic value.
• Actively contribute to new product and industrialization projects from an early stage, representing maintenance and equipment lifecycle requirements to ensure new products, processes and machines are designed for manufacturability, maintainability, reliability and cost efficiency.
• Provide structured feedback to Production Engineering, Technology and equipment suppliers based on operational experience and equipment performance, and actively drive improvements to machines, fixtures and processes.
• Own the maintenance budget and resource planning, balancing equipment performance, operational risk, personnel capacity and cost competitiveness.
• Develop the technical and leadership capabilities of the maintenance organization, ensuring the necessary competencies for current and future technologies.
• Drive TPM and cross-functional continuous improvement activities together with Production, Quality, Engineering and other relevant functions.
• Lead the maintenance-related scope for new equipment installation, testing, acceptance, transfer and retirement, including technical readiness, documentation, spare-parts concepts and training.
• Develop an effective spare-parts and supplier strategy, optimizing availability, inventory, standardization, sourcing and cost.
• Continue to ensure full quality, EHS and regulatory compliance, including the existing management responsibility for EHS within the department.

Your defining qualities

·       Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline

·       Minimum 8-10 years of experience in maintenance management, equipment reliability, or related field in manufacturing or production environment

·       Proven track record in leading maintenance teams and driving operational excellence, preferably in a multi-site or complex production environment

·       Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and reliability engineering principles

·       Demonstrated experience in cost management, budget control, and total cost of ownership optimization

·       Experience with digitalization, data analysis tools, and emerging technologies (IoT, AI, predictive analytics) in maintenance context

Continuous Improvement & Change Management: Strong capability in process optimization, lean principles, root cause analysis, and driving sustainable change within the organization
